The Imaging Core of the Biomedical Imaging Research Institute is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist II to join their team. This advanced imaging center provides comprehensive imaging services for the research community, supporting studies in cardiovascular diseases, cancer, neuroscience, regenerative medicine, and more. The facility offers technical infrastructure and expertise for cutting-edge clinical and preclinical imaging research. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist II is an intermediate-level role responsible for performing Nuclear Medicine studies, including basic to complex protocols and therapies. This includes procuring, preparing, and administering radiopharmaceuticals and medications, ensuring medication security, and providing patient education with cultural competency. The role also involves maintaining a safe environment, identifying and reporting safety concerns, and performing various imaging exams using gamma, hybrid, and portable scanners.
