About The Position

Saline Memorial Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to support acute imaging care. The technician prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals, performs diagnostic studies, and produces high-quality images to support clinical decisions. The role involves working independently in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent patient care.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree required.
• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or state-approved equivalent.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong critical-thinking skills, sound judgment, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications for imaging and therapeutic procedures.
• Operate advanced imaging technology to process and enhance digital images.
• Evaluate image quality and equipment calibration.
• Provide clear, accurate data and images for radiologist interpretation.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment.
