About The Position

Saline Memorial Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to provide acute imaging care. The technician prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals, performs diagnostic studies, and produces high-quality images that support accurate clinical decisions. The role uses advanced imaging technology and requires attention to image quality, equipment calibration, and patient care. The position is PRN, scheduled for days as needed, and includes on-call work.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree required.
• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or state-approved equivalent.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong critical-thinking skills, sound judgment, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications for imaging and therapeutic procedures.
• Operate advanced imaging technology to process and enhance digital images.
• Evaluate image quality and equipment calibration.
• Provide clear, accurate data and images for radiologist interpretation.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment.
