About The Position
Nuclear Medicine Tech position at an acute care hospital. The position is open to either four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts. The listed schedule is four 10-hour day shifts with variable start times of 0600 or 0730. The daily caseload is 5–12, with very basic studies; most volume comes from stress tests. Weekend call is required. The facility may call off one shift every two weeks. All requested time off must be included at submission, and approval depends on facility needs. The hospital has 212 staffed beds and uses Epic for charting. Free parking is available. Scrub colors listed are navy blue for RNs; L&D/OR scrubs are provided.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience.
- BLS certification.
- California State License.
- ARRT certification.
- NMTCB certification.
- First-time travelers are accepted.
- Pending state licenses are not accepted.
Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine studies, including basic studies and stress tests.
- Participate in weekend call.
