Radiology / Cardiology - Nuclear Medicine Tech
About The Position
The Nuclear Medicine Tech performs basic nuclear medicine studies, with most of the caseload coming from stress tests. The daily caseload is 5–12 procedures. The position is at an acute care hospital with 212 staffed beds. The schedule may be 4x10-hour, 5x8-hour, or 3x12-hour shifts; the listed schedule is 4x10-hour days with variable starts at 0600 and 0730. Weekend call is required. The facility may call off one shift every two weeks. All requested time off must be included at submission, with approval based on facility needs. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate; pending state licenses are not accepted.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience; first-time travelers are accepted.
- BLS certification.
- California State License.
- ARRT certification.
- NMTCB certification.
- A California state license must be active; pending state licenses are not accepted.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic nuclear medicine studies, including stress tests.
- Participate in required weekend call.
