About The Position

The Department of Radiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible radiologist, who has successfully completed a Nuclear Radiology Fellowship and is eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin. The Department of Radiology is recognized as a progressive and forward-thinking team that continues to expand with a dynamic multi-site hospital and clinic network in the Milwaukee metropolitan area. MCW Radiology offers a hybrid model allowing faculty to read and work in both the academic and community settings. The Nuclear Medicine Section includes 5 faculty who are highly respected as one of the country’s leaders in the clinical application of nuclear medicine and PET. The Department of Radiology provides post-graduate fellowships, a diagnostic radiology residency program, and medical student elective clinical rotations. Access to state-of-the-art technology with opportunities to work in collaboration with basic research scientists and a major equipment vendor in the Milwaukee metro area. Collaboration is the foundation for how we work within our department and with others across the organization. Our Radiology team includes 122 clinical faculty radiologists, 12 imaging science faculty, 12 instructor/fellows, 41 residents, 20 advanced practice providers, and 64 support staff.

Requirements

  • Board Certified/Eligible radiologist.
  • Successfully completed a Nuclear Medicine Fellowship program.
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care with expertise in general nuclear medicine, PET/CT, and PET/MR.
  • Actively participate in scholarly activities which could include education, quality, and/or research.
  • Read and work in both academic and community settings.
  • Collaborate with basic research scientists and a major equipment vendor.
