About The Position
This is a casual (per diem) position with varied 8-hour shifts. The role includes weekday and weekend call responsibilities. This position is located at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. La Jolla is expected to keep expanding and has been identified as a future PET site. The supervisor is also a Nuclear Medicine Tech, bringing direct clinical experience to the role.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
- CNMT (CA Certified Nuclear Med Tech)
- RT-VEN
- Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology Technology
- Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting

- 1-2 years’ experience
Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team.
- Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and PI activities maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.
