About The Position
The Nuclear Med Tech performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures in accordance with applicable protocols, policies, and procedures, and follows A.L.A.R.A. programs. The role also performs quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state, and federal guidelines. No prior work experience is required.
Requirements
- Completion of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
- No work experience required.
- ARDMS or ARRT Nuclear Med Tech certification, or CNMT registration, or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Tech registration, required upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Adhere to A.L.A.R.A. programs.
- Perform quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state, and federal guidelines.
