About The Position
Carroll County Memorial Hospital’s role is to improve the health and well-being of the residents and visitors to Carroll County and surrounding counties, by providing quality, compassionate, cost effective and convenient health care through community leadership and in collaboration with other healthcare organizations which serve our communities. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, including cardiac nuclear medicine studies, while providing safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care. This is an hourly PRN role where employees are required to work a minimum of one (1) shift per 6 weeks.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
- Current NMTCB and/or ARRT certification.
- Current state licensure, if applicable.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- Previous hospital or cardiac nuclear medicine experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine and cardiac imaging procedures.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately.
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment.
- Follow radiation safety and regulatory requirements.
- Provide excellent patient care and communication.
- Maintain accurate documentation and quality control.
- Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
