About The Position
This intern will support the nuclear plant maintenance process, maintaining work packages, tracking work readiness, and providing general business support for a mechanical maintenance team of 30 people. The role offers opportunities to learn and grow within a challenging workplace, contributing to work that makes a difference for neighbors and communities. The intern will work with a team, expand skills, and prepare for change and growth opportunities, with support, rewards, and recognition.
Requirements
- Current student, Freshman or higher
- Enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a degree in Business or electrical power generation
- Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours a week)/ part time during the school year (up to 20 hours a week)
- Commuting to the designated work location in-person, per our hybrid work policy.

Responsibilities
- Work package readiness
- Work completing closeout
- Maintaining expense reports
- Learn how work management and maintenance at a major generating station is coordinated
- Help coordinate meeting agendas and scheduling
