About The Position
Dominion Energy is seeking a highly motivated student for an internship during the summer of 2027 in the Corporate Nuclear Engineering and Fuel Department’s Electrical/I&C Analysis Group. This position is located at Dominion’s Innsbrook Technical Center in Glen Allen, VA. Within the Electrical Analysis functional area, the role ensures the acceptability of the electrical design at the Nuclear Power Stations. The project and tasks will be mentored by an experienced engineer.
Requirements
- Knowledge of basic electrical theories and principles is required.
- Must be able to follow instructions and be a team player.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid engineering skills, commensurate with grade level.
- Good communication skills, technical writing skills, and computer skills.
- An inquisitive nature, an ability to follow written and verbal directions, and strong professional ethics.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Microsoft Office products is desired.
- Proficiency in MS Excel with Macros is preferred.

- AC/DC analysis using Electrical Transient Analyzer Program (ETAP) software
