We have an opening for a Nuclear Facility Capabilities Manager to lead and manage the facility capability development teams in Superblock, a Hazardous Category 2 nuclear facility. You will often be involved in supporting significant R&D projects, utilizing your knowledge and experience to assist in creating innovative solutions. You will provide expert technical leadership and direction, exercising significant autonomy in managing employees and resources to accomplish complex technical and administrative requirements for a large, multi-faceted portfolio of nuclear facility infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for developing and implementing both short-term and long-range strategic plans and goals, with authority to allocate resources and set project objectives in alignment with Laboratory missions. This position is in the Defense Technologies Engineering Division (DTED) within the Engineering Directorate. This position will be filled at either level depending on your qualifications. Additional job responsibilities (outlined below) will be assigned if you are selected at the higher level. This position may offer a hybrid schedule, blending in-person and virtual presence. You may have the flexibility to work from home one or more days per week.
