About The Position

We are seeking a Facility Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance, safety, and efficiency of our company’s physical environments. You will be critical in ensuring that facilities operate smoothly, support technical teams’ needs, and reflect the high standards of engineering culture. You will be both strategic and hands-on—capable of leading maintenance operations, managing vendors, and implementing smart facility systems that align with the technology-driven mission.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, and/or Business Administration
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing facilities in a technology, engineering, or manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, security)
  • Excellent project management, budgeting, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional environments
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Access (TS/SCI)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CMMS or facility management software
  • OSHA or related safety certifications

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and building services
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service agreements for utilities, cleaning, security, and maintenance
  • Develop and manage facility budgets and capital improvement plans
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations
  • Implement energy efficiency, sustainability, and smart building initiatives
  • Support space planning, office layouts, and expansion or renovation projects
  • Collaborate with IT and Engineering teams to ensure facility infrastructure supports technical systems and lab environments
  • Lead emergency preparedness and safety response plans
  • Maintain records of inspections, maintenance, and compliance activities
