About The Position
NextEra Energy Nuclear is seeking a dynamic Nuclear Electrical Maintenance Instructor Sr to lead cutting-edge nuclear training programs at our Duane Arnold Energy Center in Palo Iowa, with corporate support from our Jupiter, FL headquarters. Individuals participate in the identification of instructional gaps and improvements of specific training agendas in accordance with the applicable regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- High School Grad / GED
- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
- 7+ years of experience
- 7+ years of Nuclear Experience
- Bachelor's in a technical field (e.g., Math, Physical Sciences specialty, Engineering) or equivalent education and/or experience
- Related industry OR nuclear training experience: 8+ years

Responsibilities
- Develops, delivers and improves assigned training courses, supporting materials and instructor/student evaluations using the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT)
- Revises instructional materials to reflect changes in plant design, current plant practices, regulations, and/or operating philosophies
- Provides direction and coaches less-experienced instructors
- Serves as the training program lead to ensure all elements of assigned instruction comply with company standards, NRC regulations, INPO accreditation criteria, and other codes, standards and regulatory requirements
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
