About The Position

The Training Coordinator provides administrative registration, virtual producer, and learning management system (LMS) support to the training department manager and to their assigned program. Possible programs the Training Coordinator may support include Enterprise Learning and Development (ELD). This position is responsible for assisting in department administration and course preparation activities according to NTC procedures. This position will be the main point of contact for all customer service requests. This position could serve as a backup training coordinator for other programs on an as needed basis.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Department of Defense/War (DOD/W) installation access, which will involve obtaining a Defense Biometric Identification Data System (DBIDS)card.
  • Participation in IB3's Workplace Substance Abuse Program (WSAP), including random drug testing.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited college, university, business, or technical-vocational school, preferred.
  • Two (2) or more years of administrative support experience related to or comparable to the position, preferred.
  • Experience supporting government (ideally DOE) agencies and programs, preferred.
  • Knowledge of computer security practices and procedures.
  • Ability to screen various types of documents and verify the accuracy and completeness of data in source and supporting documents or reports and track and correct discrepancies.
  • Experience maintaining master database, complete arithmetic computations, make adjustments and special entries, and reconcile master database with source documents and project data.
  • Experience with virtual meeting platforms (Cisco WebEx, Adobe Connect).
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, PPT, Teams)
  • Ability to learn new software features quickly and effectively.
  • Strong customer service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates, tracks, and monitors training and special program assignments, schedules, and meetings.
  • Documents and distributes meeting notes.
  • Schedules meetings and events.
  • Supports training preparation activities for instructor-led and virtual deliveries according to NTC procedures.
  • Routinely carries out recurring duties and assignments.
  • Establishes, organizes, and maintains printed and electronic records in compliance with Records Information and Disposition requirements.
  • Serves as the main point of contract for all customer service requests.
  • Provide registration support to DOE personnel following established procedures and desktop guides.
  • Maintain a familiarity and proficiency with job related software (e.g., Adobe Connect, Microsoft Suite, Vision).
