About The Position

This role focuses on leading strategic sourcing activities for New Product Development (NPD) programs, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps. The professional will partner with engineering and operations early in the design cycle to influence manufacturability and cost. Key responsibilities include identifying, evaluating, and developing global suppliers for new technologies, materials, and production methods, as well as negotiating complex supply agreements. The role also involves developing sourcing strategies for scalability and risk mitigation, driving total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, managing supplier performance, and collaborating with quality and regulatory teams for supplier compliance. Additionally, the position involves supporting engineering teams with raw material orders and operating with minimal supervision.
