About The Position

This Advanced Practice Provider (APP) primarily practices in an outpatient setting, managing both solid tumor oncology and hematology patients. The candidate consistently exhibits sound critical thinking abilities and strong interpersonal skills in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Qualified applicants must be proficient in conducting comprehensive histories and physical assessments. Opportunity for chemo certification and bone marrow biopsy training.

Requirements

• Proficient in conducting comprehensive histories and physical assessments
• At least 1 year of experience in hematology/oncology working as an APP
• Effective communication (written and verbal)
• Willingness to collaborate closely with clinical team
• Current on best practice and standards of care
• Displays self-initiative to learn

Responsibilities

• Outpatient and infusion coverage
• Survivorship, acute and routine visits, toxicity visits, chemotherapy teaches, benign hematology management, and infusion coverage
• Clinic is open Monday – Friday; Schedule consists of 4 days/10-hour shift or 5 days/8 hour shifts
