About The Position

This is a full-time opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an expanding GI team in Fargo, ND. The role involves working in a state-of-the-art Endoscopy suite and innovative programs, enhancing patient access and treatment options for GI conditions. The position emphasizes health promotion and disease prevention, with patient care ranging from 18 to elderly. It requires a high level of collaboration with physicians, other healthcare professionals, patients, and co-workers.

Requirements

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nurse Practitioner or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Physician Assistant program from an accredited program/institution.
• Previous gastroenterology experience/knowledge required.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state (if NP).
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in appropriate state.
• Current certification in CPR.
• National certification in applicable area (NP and PA).
• Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consults and follow-ups in the clinic.
• Provide occasional inpatient call coverage for consults and follow-ups.
