About The Position

Utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision making skills, works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. Provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise. This is a clinic and hospital-based role, allowing our physicians to maintain surgical access while increasing access to care for our clinic patients. This essential position will help ensure walk-in, procedure follow-up, and wound care patients have immediate access to care in the clinic. The role is 80% Hospital and 20% Clinical.

Requirements

Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state (for NP).
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in appropriate state (for NP).
Current certification in CPR (for NP and PA).
National certification in applicable area (for NP).
Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice (for NP and PA).
Current licensure as a physician assistant in appropriate state (for PA).
National certification (for PA).

OR experience is preferred.
