NP/PA Cardiology Full-Time Opening in San Diego, CA
About The Position
Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Cardiology Division. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) position with a 4 10-hour shifts schedule, including one hour for lunch. The role involves no nights, no weekends, and no call. Practice will primarily be in the outpatient setting at SRS San Diego Main and Chula Vista clinics, with approximately 20% inpatient coverage at Sharp Memorial Hospital. The NP/PA will collaborate with a team of cardiologists to deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care, manage post-procedure follow-up, discharge, and ongoing coordination of patient care, with a focus on structural heart disease.
Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years of full-time NP/PA experience in a cardiology practice setting required
- Active, unrestricted California NP or PA license required
- Current board certification in applicable specialty required
- Must be comfortable working independently
