NP/PA Cardiology Full-Time Opening in San Diego, CA
About The Position
Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiology Division. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) position with a 4 10-hour shifts schedule, including one hour for lunch. The role involves no nights, weekends, or call. Practice will primarily be in the outpatient setting at SRS San Diego Main and Chula Vista clinics, with inpatient coverage at Sharp Memorial Hospital (approximately 80% outpatient / 20% inpatient). The NP/PA will collaborate with a team of cardiologists to deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care, manage post-procedure follow-up, discharge, and ongoing coordination of patient care with a focus on structural heart disease.
Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years of full-time NP/PA experience in a cardiology practice setting required
- Active, unrestricted California NP or PA license required
- Current board certification in applicable specialty required
- Must be comfortable working independently
Nice To Haves
- Experience with structural heart disease, post-procedure care, or cardiovascular populations preferred
