About The Position

This role consists of assuring safe, effective, quality patient care, providing care within his/her scope of practice as outlined by applicable state law, licensing, regulations, institutional policy and practice agreements. The position is responsible to the Operations Director.

Requirements

• Current Licensure with the Texas Medical Board of Nurse Examiners or Current Licensure with the Texas Medical Board of Physician Assistants
• Experience working in cardiology or other related field
• Obtains and maintains American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of management, physicians, patients, and visitors required
• Background Check

• Immunization Records
• Ability to talk to patient and/or staff – Continually
• Ability to hear patients and/or alarms – Continually
• Vision (near and/or far) – Continually
• Ability to distinguish colors – Continually
• Bloodborne Exposure (Refer to Bloodborne Exposure Control Plan in Policy Tech for possible exposure tasks) Frequently
• Respirator Fit Testing Required Annually
• Serve Children 1-12 years
• Serve Adolescents 13-18 years
• Serve Adults 19-70 years
• Serve Geriatrics 71+ year
