About The Position

Cardinal Education is seeking a Note-taker to join their team. This role involves capturing and analyzing information during meetings, including those with the CEO and consultants. The primary responsibility is to document discussions during client meetings with the CEO, assign tasks to various teams, ensure follow-ups, and oversee the implementation of action items. The ideal candidate will be amenable to working on weekends, with weekdays off.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of notetaking, transcription, or copywriting experience.
  • Graduate of a 4-year course from a reputable university.
  • Willing to work beyond working hours.
  • Ability to work on a graveyard shift.
  • Proficient typing skills with a minimum speed of 35 words per minute.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite.
  • Must have good written communication skills, including sentence construction, syntax, grammar, capitalization, and usage of punctuation marks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a sharp eye for accuracy.
  • Outstanding comprehension skills and the capability to analyze complex instructions.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving business structures and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive attitude and eagerness for continuous learning and development.
  • Active Listening: Note-takers need to be exceptional listeners to capture all essential information accurately.
  • Time Management: Managing and prioritizing tasks efficiently, especially in a fast-paced environment, is crucial.
  • Detail-Oriented: Emphasize the importance of being meticulous in recording details, as even small errors can have significant consequences.
  • Confidentiality: Highlight the need to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information discussed during meetings.

  • Background in the educational field is a plus.
  • Experience working for a company that offers study abroad programs is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Attend and take notes during the CEO’s meetings with clients.
  • Update and maintain meeting notes in students’ files.
  • Track the CEO’s calendar for scheduled meetings.
  • Prepare necessary documents before meetings.
  • Communicate and follow up with other divisions on action items.
  • Ghostwrite emails.
  • Update trackers daily report + accounting hours.
  • Marketing writing.
