About The Position

Language Trainers is seeking a Norwegian Teacher for a client in Arlington, United States. This is a freelance, part-time position with a total of 100 hours, consisting of two-to-one hybrid lessons. Each session will be two hours long, scheduled twice per week on weekdays. The students are beginners and are motivated to learn Norwegian due to family heritage. Initially, in-person lessons are preferred at the teacher's home or office in/near downtown Arlington, with the flexibility to switch to online lessons when necessary. The schedule and location may be flexible based on availability. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications. Please note that visa sponsorship is not provided.

Requirements

• Native Norwegian speaker and/or relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
• Valid work permit/visa.
• Ability to live within 20 miles of downtown Arlington.
• Availability for twice-weekly weekday sessions.
• Ability to provide lessons in/near downtown Arlington, with flexibility for online sessions.
• Submit CV with references, availability, and earliest possible start date.

Responsibilities
