About The Position

As the North America Credit Manager, you will play a key role in driving profitability and cash flow. In this role, you’ll be part of a legacy supporting selected North American business segments and partnering closely with our Sales and Finance team. You’ll drive company profitability and cash flow by balancing credit risk management with customer growth, ensuring sound financial decisions that support long-term business success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business.
• 5-10 years of experience in Credit, Collections or Accounts Receivable.
• Experience leading or coordinating collections teams.
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP).
• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial or B2B environment.
• Strong financial statement and credit analysis skills.
• Experience managing customer disputes, deductions and claims.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer credit reviews, credit limits and payment terms.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging, collection performance and customer payment behavior.
• Lead, coach, and coordinate a team of five collectors to achieve cash collection and DSO objectives.
• Support order release and credit hold decisions.
• Investigate payment and invoice issues, coordinate with internal teams, and drive resolution to completion.
• Investigate and resolve customer deductions, claims and disputes.
• Analyze financial statements, credit reports and payment trends to support credit decisions and drive working capital and cash flow improvement initiatives.
• Prepare recurring credit and receivable reporting and portfolio analysis.
