We are seeking an experienced Resiliency professional with deep AI knowledge and practical hands-on experience to lead our North America Region via a Center of Excellence you will help deliver. The Regional Resiliency Lead is responsible for leading the strategy execution and continuous improvement of the Regions company’s Resilience through leveraging the COE, Global Security teams, and matrixed business partners. This role ensures the Region is prepared to respond and recover from disruptive events while maintaining critical business operations. A core expectation of this role is the ability to apply AI tools and techniques in practical, day-to-day Resiliency work from AI-assisted risk assessments and predictive scenario planning to automated plan maintenance and intelligent alerting. The position partners closely with Global Security, GSOC, Crisis Management, IT, Engineering, Legal, Facilities, HR, Risk Management, and executive leadership to design and maintain scalable, risk-based continuity solutions across North America sites and business units. Beyond individual use, this leader will assist in the development and execution of the strategy to scale AI across the Regional Resiliency functions embedding AI-driven capabilities into workflows, exercises, and reporting so that the entire program becomes faster, smarter, and more resilient over time. This position plays a critical role in safeguarding the company’s people, operations, and brand, delivering enterprise-level impact within the Americas region. To keep pace with this growth, the Resiliency function must scale rapidly across an increasingly complex North America footprint and AI is central to that strategy. The Regional Resiliency Lead directly enables business resilience by harnessing AI-driven insights, predictive risk intelligence, and automation to build a program that scales with the business, and ensures leadership has confidence in the company’s ability to withstand and recover from disruption. This position reports to the Global Head of Business Resiliency and is based in Santa Clara, CA. The role requires travel up to 25%.

Requirements

  • 10+ Years experience leading Business Continuity, Crisis Management, and Operational Resilience programs within large, complex, and matrixed organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 22301, NIST, FFIEC, and business continuity and risk management best practices.
  • Proven ability to support senior leaders during operational, cyber, physical, and reputational disruption events.
  • Experience developing and implementing resilience strategies that integrate business continuity, crisis management, disaster recovery, and operational risk.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional regional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong experience conducting Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), risk assessments, dependency mapping, and recovery strategy planning.
  • Knowledge of crisis response coordination, incident management processes, escalation procedures, and executive communications.
  • Experience developing governance processes, KPIs/KRIs, dashboards, and reporting to support program effectiveness and operational readiness.
  • Experience facilitating tabletop exercises, simulations, and recovery testing activities to validate preparedness and response capabilities.
  • Strong collaboration and partnership skills across Cybersecurity, Technology, Risk Management, Legal, Compliance, Facilities, Supply Chain, and business operations teams.
  • Experience utilizing analytics, automation, and emerging technologies to improve resilience monitoring, reporting, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and enhance Business Continuity and Crisis Management programs across North America in alignment with ISO 22301, NIST, FFIEC, and operational resilience best practices.
  • Support the execution of enterprise continuity and crisis management strategies, governance, policies, standards, and program initiatives across the region.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to regional leadership on business continuity risk, crisis preparedness, operational resilience, and recovery readiness.
  • Lead North America Business Continuity and Crisis Management activities within a highly matrixed environment, promoting a culture of resilience and accountability.
  • Conduct and coordinate Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) to identify critical business functions, dependencies, Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs), and Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs).
  • Partner with Risk, Cybersecurity, Technology, Physical Security, Facilities, Procurement, and business leaders to assess operational and third-party risks impacting regional operations.
  • Develop, maintain, and validate business continuity, crisis management, and recovery plans across North America corporate, product, and site operations.
  • Ensure alignment of regional continuity and crisis management activities with Disaster Recovery, Incident Response, Emergency Management, and Operational Resilience programs.
  • Provide regional leadership and coordination during crisis events and operational disruptions, supporting effective response, escalation management, communications, and recovery activities.
  • Lead tabletop exercises, simulations, and recovery testing to validate readiness and improve response effectiveness across regional teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement through after-action reviews, corrective action management, program assessments, and lessons learned from exercises and real-world events.
  • Develop and maintain regional KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to measure resilience, recovery performance, and program maturity.
  • Leverage analytics, automation, and risk intelligence tools to improve program reporting, monitoring, and operational response capabilities.
  • Deliver continuity and crisis management training and awareness programs for regional leaders, recovery coordinators, and business teams.
  • Support third-party resilience assessments and help ensure continuity requirements are incorporated into vendor management processes and contractual expectations.
  • Influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across North America without direct authority while fostering a culture of preparedness and continuous improvement.
