About The Position

The Noon Duty Aide at Madison Elementary School District #38 is responsible for providing supervision of children in the cafeteria and/or playground. This role involves following teacher directions to maintain a consistent discipline program for students, supervising and working with students as assigned, and monitoring student activities. The aide must also understand and apply safety precautions, perform general clerical duties, and work with students on a one-to-one basis. The position is for the 2026/2027 school year and is part-time, working 2 hours per day.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform general clerical duties.
• Ability to work with students on a one-to-one basis.
• Ability to work in a timely and efficient manner.
• Relates to students, parents, and staff in a positive manner.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision of children in cafeteria and/or playground.
• Follows teacher(s) directions to provide a consistent discipline program for students.
• Supervises and works with students as assigned.
• Monitors student activities as assigned.
• Understands and applies safety-related precautions as outlined in MSDS.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by the designated supervisor(s).
• Perform general clerical duties.
• Work with students on a one-to-one basis.
