About The Position
The job involves taking guest orders, communicating details of food preparation techniques, providing information about wine, beer and cocktail lists and promoting suitable meal/drink pairings. Serving and delivering food/drinks in a friendly and professional manner. Providing remarkable service, by recognizing and anticipating guest’s needs. Working safely and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Working as one team under stressful conditions during high volume business levels. Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties. Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in food & beverage
- Smart Serve certificate
- Exceptional guest service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Nice To Haves
- Fluent in Cantonese and/or Mandarin an asset
