About The Position

Ascensus is the leading independent technology and service platform powering savings plans across America, providing products and expertise that help nearly 16 million people save for a better today and tomorrow. Our internship program offers practical corporate work experience that could lead to full-time work after graduation. We are seeking students going into their senior year, graduating in the spring of 2027. The shift is from 9 am to 5 pm, 40 hours per week, starting in June and ending in August. This is a hybrid position in Lake Mary, FL that pays $20 per hour. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience, professional development, and exposure to real business projects. The ideal candidate is proactive, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to meaningful work.

Requirements

Current student pursuing a degree in [relevant major – e.g., Business, Marketing, Finance, IT, Communications].
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Solid organizational skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Willingness to learn new tools, processes, and technologies.

Nice To Haves

Experience with data analysis or reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
Familiarity with project management concepts.
Creative problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily departmental operations, projects, and administrative tasks.
Conduct research and compile data to support team initiatives.
Collaborate with team members to support ongoing projects and process improvements.
Create or update documentation, reports, and presentations as needed.
Support special projects such as events, client deliverables, or internal initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned to gain exposure to different aspects of the team and organization.
