About The Position

Easterseals Florida is seeking an experienced Controller to join our leadership team and help oversee the financial operations of a mission-driven nonprofit organization serving individuals, families, and communities across Florida. With approximately $50 million in annual revenue, multiple funding sources, government contracts, grants, and over 50 program and departmental budgets, this role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact while leading a dedicated accounting team. This position is ideal for a leader who can balance strategy with execution. We are looking for someone who is comfortable reviewing complex accounting transactions, resolving reconciliation issues, leading audits, strengthening internal controls, coaching staff, and partnering closely with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. This is not a role where you simply review the work of others. We are seeking a Controller who is willing to dive into the details when needed, help solve challenges, improve processes, and lead by example while building a high performing accounting function.
