Contributes to the organization by working closely with the ophthalmologist to perform basic, advance, and complex preliminary tests and measurements of the eyes. The OA floater generally meets with the patient before the Ophthalmologist to obtain medical history and prepare the patient for the examination. OA will also perform scribe duties when needed by collecting and documenting exam information into the electronic medical record system for the Ophthalmologist.
