About The Position

The Family Engagement and Student Success Specialist will partner with families in our community to strengthen and support the connection between school and families by focusing on the social-emotional and academic success of their children. The Family Engagement and Student Success Specialist will work closely with school principals, counselors, mental health and intervention prevention specialists, and the executive director of student intervention to identify and make contact with students and families in order to assist them in benefiting from offered support.

Requirements

• AA or BA Degree in education or a public service-related field.
• Qualifying experience, as determined by the Superintendent, may substitute for education.
• Right Response, CPR and valid First Aid Card
• Washington State Drivers License.
• Must be willing to provide District with authority to receive a profile of driving record(s).

Responsibilities
