About The Position

The Ground Service Equipment (GSE) Helper assists mechanics in maintaining and repairing airport service equipment. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals who are eager to learn and grow in the aviation services industry. AGI provides on-the-job training, advancement opportunities, and safety incentive bonuses. As an AGI GSE Helper, you will: Assist mechanics with repairs and troubleshooting on gas/diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and more. Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and cleaning equipment. Help track and document preventative maintenance schedules for equipment. Maintain a safe and organized workspace, ensuring tools and parts are readily available. This role offers a chance to learn from experienced mechanics and gain valuable skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Be able to obtain airport security clearance, including a thorough 10-year background check.
  • Be able to lift up to 50 pounds (23 kg) regularly.
  • Be able to climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop for extended periods.
  • Be able to work outdoors in all types of weather and around machinery noise.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.
