About The Position
The Ground Service Equipment (GSE) Helper assists mechanics in maintaining and repairing airport service equipment. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals who are eager to learn and grow in the aviation services industry. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Be able to obtain airport security clearance, including a thorough 10-year background check.
Responsibilities
- Assist mechanics with repairs and troubleshooting on gas/diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and more.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and cleaning equipment.
- Help track and document preventative maintenance schedules for equipment.
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace, ensuring tools and parts are readily available.
