About The Position
Sentara Medical Group is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our award-winning, nationally recognized, innovative, non-profit healthcare system in Harrisonburg, VA. As a physician-led organization, we pride ourselves on being a top-tier, high-performing multi-specialty group, uniting over 2,000 providers dedicated to delivering quality and compassionate care to our communities. This is a supportive, collaborative cardiology team of 10 physicians and 12 APPs committed to high-quality patient care. The role offers a balanced inpatient and outpatient practice with single-hospital coverage and an outpatient clinic on site. The facility boasts a robust, comprehensive cardiovascular program with on-site cardiothoracic surgery and a full range of structural heart and electrophysiology services. Sentara RMH Medical Center is recognized as a Leapfrog “A” Hospital and named by Modern Healthcare as one of the Top 50 Cardiovascular Hospitals.
Requirements
- Non-Invasive Cardiology expertise
- Ability to perform echo, TEE, and nuclear stress testing
- Experience with Epic EHR is beneficial
Nice To Haves
- Coronary CTA or Cardiac MRI experience
Responsibilities
- Perform echo, TEE, and nuclear stress testing
- Support inpatient care and call coverage with APP assistance
- Manage an average of 16–18 patients per day in the outpatient clinic
