About The Position

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital (SMJH) is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our collaborative, patient-focused cardiovascular program serving Charlottesville, VA. This role offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient cardiology with strong team support and a sustainable call schedule. Requirements

  • BC/BE in Cardiovascular Medicine
  • Experience with Nuclear Stress Testing
  • Experience with NIV and echocardiography

Responsibilities

  • Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) imaging
  • EKG
  • Echo
  • Nuclear Stress Testing
  • Mix of outpatient and inpatient duties
  • Clinic Volume is variable with provider input; 15 min follow-ups/30 min new patient visits
  • Call Schedule: 1:8 rotation
  • Leverage advanced AI tools like Cleerly and DASI to enhance cardiac diagnostics and decision-making
  • DAX Copilot streamlines inpatient and outpatient charting
