About The Position
Citrus Cardiology Consultants is seeking a Full-Time Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join their growing team, primarily serving Inverness and Lecanto, with affiliations at HCA Florida Citrus and Tampa General Hospital. Citrus Cardiology Consultants is a premier cardiovascular group and a proud CVAUSA partner, delivering exceptional, patient-first care across Citrus, Sumter, Lake, and Marion counties. Their comprehensive services include general and interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, peripheral vascular care, and structural heart procedures. They operate state-of-the-art facilities with a focus on collaboration and innovation, aiming to advance cardiovascular care in Central Florida.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
- MD or DO from a U.S.-accredited residency and fellowship program.
- Strong commitment to quality, patient satisfaction, and collaborative care.
- Group can support Physician J1/H-1B waivers through the Southeast Crescent Regional Commission.
Nice To Haves
- Board certification or eligibility in Echocardiography and/or Nuclear Cardiology preferred.
- Experience or interest in cardiac CT/MRI is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Primarily non-invasive cardiology with a strong outpatient and inpatient consultative focus.
- High-volume echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and cardiac CT opportunities.
- Opportunity to incorporate subspecialty imaging interests.
- Teaching available with their ACGME-accredited Cardiology Fellowship Program in partnership with University of South Florida/HCA Healthcare.
