About The Position

Saint Luke’s and the renowned Mid America Heart Institute (MAHI) in Kansas City are seeking a BC/BE Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our thriving and collaborative cardiovascular team. MAHI offers a dynamic environment focused on excellence in patient care, education, and innovation, with over 65 cardiologists and 55 advanced practice providers. The position involves an inpatient and outpatient non-invasive cardiology focus, with opportunities to read echocardiography if interested and trained. Candidates interested in preventative cardiology, cardiometabolic, or cardio-oncology can join well-established clinics. MAHI is also expanding its focus in pulmonary hypertension and vascular medicine. There are ample teaching opportunities for those interested in mentoring fellows in General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Structural Intervention, Electrophysiology, Cardiovascular Imaging, and Heart Failure/Transplant. Research-focused candidates can apply to the Clinical Scholars Program for protected research time and mentorship. The role offers a sustainable schedule with up to 10 weeks of vacation, 10 weekend rotations per year, and a shared non-invasive call structure. Saint Luke’s MAHI is affiliated with the University of Missouri–Kansas City and utilizes a fully integrated Epic EMR. It is a physician-led organization that fosters leadership development and growth opportunities through Saint Luke’s Physician Group, with a physician-led governance model guiding strategic direction.

Requirements

BC/BE Non-Invasive Cardiologist
Doctorate Degree
Level 2 or 3 training for echocardiography reading (if interested)
