About The Position

Sutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG) is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join their growing San Francisco cardiology practice. This role involves a combination of outpatient cardiology and hospital-based service within an integrated cardiovascular program. The group is particularly interested in candidates with expertise or interest in echocardiography, cardiac CT, and/or cardiac MRI, offering opportunities to further develop these areas as the program expands.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
• Eligible for unrestricted California medical licensure
• DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate (CSRC)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Additional certifications as required by the department

Nice To Haves

• Level III training in echocardiography is preferred
• Expertise in cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, or another complementary area is welcomed

Responsibilities

• Combine outpatient cardiology and hospital-based service within an integrated cardiovascular program.
• Participate in teaching and working with fellows in the cardiology fellowship program.
• Engage in a "privademic" practice model combining physician-led clinical practice with teaching, research opportunities, and academic engagement.
• Develop and grow specialized clinical or imaging expertise.
