About The Position

Intermountain Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join their established and growing cardiovascular team in Cedar City, Utah. This role offers the opportunity to build a thriving practice within a well-established cardiovascular program at Cedar City Heart Clinic, collaborating with other specialists and experienced Advanced Practice Providers. The position is part of a regional cardiovascular network, providing access to specialized care and a robust cardiothoracic surgery team. The location in Cedar City offers a high quality of life with access to outdoor recreation and a family-friendly community.

Requirements

MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
Residency trained and Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
Will consider new fellows
Ability to perform TEEs and read Nuc, Echo

Responsibilities

Practice high-quality, patient-centered medicine.
Collaborate with other cardiologists and advanced practice providers.
Participate in shared reading rotations with the St. George cardiology team.
Perform TEEs and read Nuc, Echo.

Base salary of $718,000
Up to $100,000 of quality bonuses available in year 2
$30,000 starting bonus
