About The Position

We are currently looking for a Non-Ferrous Receiver Labourer to join our team in Victoriaville. The person in this position will mainly be responsible for the receiving, sorting, and handling of non-ferrous metals. The work is primarily performed indoors, with some occasional outdoor tasks depending on operational needs. This position is focused on manual work, material handling, and metal sorting in a dynamic industrial environment. We are looking for someone reliable, active, and comfortable with physical work.

• Comfortable with manual and physical work
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors as needed

• Enjoy working as part of a team and collaborating with your colleagues

Nice To Haves

• Experience in an industrial environment
• Experience operating a forklift or other equipment
• Knowledge of different types of metals

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and follow established procedures
• Unload, sort, and identify different types of non-ferrous metals
• Weigh and classify materials and enter information into the system
• Prepare incoming and outgoing material shipments
• Operate the forklift safely
• Keep the work area, equipment, and workplace clean and in good condition
• Perform basic equipment inspections and maintenance
• Wear the required PPE and perform other related duties
