About The Position

EMR is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator for its Pensacola, Florida depot. The role involves operating excavators to move and process metal at a metal recycling facility. The operator performs daily equipment inspections and maintenance, follows safety protocols, works outdoors in varying weather conditions, and supports the team with additional duties as needed. The job requires personal protective equipment and includes exposure to dust, fumes, and noise in a fast-paced recycling environment.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, teamwork skills, and ability to multitask.
• Must pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.
• Wear required PPE, including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, a hard hat, high-visibility gear, and ear protection.
