About The Position

EMR is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator for its Pensacola, Florida depot. The role involves operating excavators to move and process metal, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and supporting depot operations. This is an onsite, hands-on position in a fast-paced recycling environment, with outdoor work in all weather conditions and exposure to dust, fumes, and noise. Personal protective equipment is required.

Requirements

• Previous experience with material handling and excavators is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, teamwork skills, and ability to multitask.
• Must pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.
• Use required personal protective equipment, including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, a hard hat, high-visibility gear, and ear protection.
