About The Position

M&D Transportation, LLC is seeking a dedicated, safety-conscious driver to transport wholesale goods between distribution centers and customer locations. The driver operates company-owned vehicles on designated routes and is expected to uphold the company’s commitment to safety, customer service, and reliability. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with shifts beginning at 4:00 a.m. Starting pay is $18 per hour and may vary based on experience.

Requirements

Must be 25 years or older.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
At least one year of experience as a delivery driver.
In-depth knowledge of Federal and State motor vehicle regulations, safety protocols, and commercial vehicle operation.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company-owned vehicles to transport wholesale goods on designated routes.
Secure and handle loads carefully to prevent damage and maintain product integrity.
Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Follow Federal and State motor vehicle regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
Maintain accurate records of driving hours, deliveries, vehicle inspections, and incident reports.
Communicate with dispatch and logistics personnel about delivery status, delays, and operational concerns.
Assist with minor vehicle troubleshooting and promptly report maintenance needs.
Follow temperature-controlled transport requirements when applicable.
