About The Position

This role centers on developing a NAS 410 Level 2 Ultrasonic NDT Technician through the MRAS Ultrasonic Training Program. The technician will use pulse‑echo and through‑transmission ultrasonic methods to inspect aerospace composite components, ensuring they meet customer and technical requirements. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, evaluating test results, and making accept/reject determinations based on established criteria. The position also requires maintaining and calibrating ultrasonic equipment, managing safety‑related tools, and adhering to all safety and PPE standards. Flexibility in work hours is essential to support production needs.

Requirements

  • HS diploma / GED equivalent
  • Candidate to successfully pass internal examination within 6 months
  • Participate in mandatory FAA Drug Test program
  • This position involves access to export-controlled technology which requires U.S. Person status or government authorization. A ‘U.S. Person,’ as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62, includes U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, individuals lawfully admitted for permanent residence (green card holders), and individuals granted asylum or refugee status in the United States. To be considered for this position, you must either be a U.S. Person or fall within a legally recognized export control exception or authorization. If hired, you will be required to provide valid proof of such status.

Responsibilities

  • Enter into the MRAS Ultrasonic Training Program with the goal to attain a NAS 410 Level 2 certification in the Ultrasonic NDT method.
  • Utilize both pulse echo and through transmission techniques to perform inspections to customer requirements and technical procedures.
  • Perform evaluation of test results.
  • Provide ultrasonic inspection acceptance/rejection disposition on aerospace composite components.
  • Maintenance of equipment and calibration.
  • Control of Safety related equipment.
  • Comply with all safety and PPE requirements.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts to support production.
