About The Position

An iidon Security Associate provides customer service while helping maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees at high-rise buildings in the Houston area. The role monitors and patrols premises and personnel, follows departmental security procedures, and supports the company’s values of trust, honesty, respect, integrity, and commitment. Full-time, part-time, and flexible positions are available.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid ID/DL required.
Able to stand for long periods, climb multiple stairs, respond promptly to emergencies, and lift heavy objects.
Skills in observation, dealing with uncertainty, judgment, objectivity, dependability, emotional control, integrity, safety management, and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

Security experience is preferred, though it is not required for some accounts.

Responsibilities

Secure premises and personnel by monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry.
Patrol assigned areas, which may include building lobbies and floors, parking garages, loading docks, building perimeters, and outer perimeters.
Control vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the loading dock and monitor materials entering or leaving the dock area.
Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policies and procedures, and restraining trespassers.
Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interview witnesses and obtain signatures.
Maintain the environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
Comply with legal requirements to support the organization’s stability and reputation.
Ensure equipment operates by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
