About The Position

Teach ski lessons to guests of all ages in a safe, fun environment, with a particular focus on children. The role delivers quality group and private instruction and world-class guest service. Instructors may also work flexibly across departments and roles to support the resort’s operations. The position is winter seasonal for 2026/2027, with part-time hours available. Starting and expected pay is $20.00 per hour; additional teaching incentives may provide opportunities to earn more. Housing is available. Applicants must be at least 16 years old. Instructor placement depends on successfully completing training and meeting minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards.

Requirements

At least 16 years of age.
Comfortable and competent skiing on groomed blue terrain.
Willingness to work with guests of all ages and a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older.
Ability to communicate fluently in English.
Strong communication skills.
Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
Comfortable being in ski boots for extended periods.
Successfully complete training and meet minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards for instructor placement.
Hires under age 18 must submit a parental consent form and other documents applicable under state law, such as a work permit, physician’s note, and/or proof of birthdate.

Responsibilities

Teach group and private ski lessons.
Work with guests of all ages, with a focus on children.
Deliver world-class guest service.
Create a safe and fun learning environment.
Support snow sports school needs, including scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, and fitting equipment.
Provide guest feedback that inspires and creates lifelong skiers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Depending on operational needs, support other departments such as Lift Experience, Mountain Activities, Food and Beverage Support, Base Area Operations, and Retail Rental Operations.
