About The Position

At Manhattan Beer and Beverage Distributors, our vision is to be the leading beer distributor in the market. Our founder, Simon Bergson, started with one truck and 4000 feet of warehouse space, and has grown the business exponentially. We now have 1.5 million feet of warehouse space, distribute 300 brands, operate 400 trucks, and service 15 counties. Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to meet company insurance requirements.
  • 1 year of previous delivery, warehouse, or route driving experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy products (typically 40–165 lbs) on a frequent basis.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Basic math and reading skills for invoice verification and order accuracy.
  • Customer-focused mindset with good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with local routes and navigation tools (GPS, route planning apps) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company delivery vehicles (non-CDL) to transport and deliver beverage products to retail and commercial customers
  • Load and unload product at warehouse and customer locations using proper lifting techniques and equipment (e.g., hand trucks, pallet jacks)
  • Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
  • Verify orders against invoices, obtain customer signatures, and handle basic payment collection when required
  • Provide excellent customer service, maintaining professional communication with customers and resolving minor delivery issues on-site
  • Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs or safety concerns
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, DOT regulations (where applicable), and safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and delivery documentation
