About The Position

Imperial Brady is hiring a Non-CDL Delivery Driver in San Antonio, Texas. The driver delivers products to daily stops, unloads merchandise using a hand truck, manual pallet jack, and dolly, and places deliveries at the customer’s preferred location. Providing exceptional customer service is an important part of the role.

This is a day-shift position scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., or until the daily route is completed. The driver operates a 24-foot box truck with air brakes and a gross vehicle weight of up to 25,999 pounds.

Requirements

• Good driving record.
• One year of route delivery experience.
• One year of experience using a manual pallet jack and hand truck.
• Lift gate experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more comfortably and without assistance.
• Ability to pass a DOT medical exam and a Non-DOT drug exam.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 24-foot box truck with air brakes, up to 25,999 GVW.
• Load and unload cargo by hand and using a manual pallet jack and lift gate.
• Deliver products to daily stops and place merchandise at the customer's preferred location.
• Track and document activity in the log.
• Report issues or incidents to dispatch.
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip.
• Communicate with customers in an outgoing manner and provide exceptional customer service.
