About The Position

Daniels Health is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused driver to operate a 26-foot box truck in the Stow, OH area. The role involves collecting sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare customer locations, delivering excellent customer service, and managing routes efficiently. Requirements

• DOT medical card
• Willingness to work full-time hours, approximately 40 hours a week.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Passing a 7-year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Experience operating 26-foot box trucks or larger.
• A flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus.
• Experience operating vehicles in a safe manner (as large as 26 ft box trucks).
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections.
• Confidence in handling road checks level 1 through level 3.
• Proven longevity in past employment.
• On-time delivery practices.

• Delivery experience within any industry where manual handling was involved (advantageous, not mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Safely collecting, delivering, and storing medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships.
• Operating vehicles, including up to 26 ft box trucks, in a safe manner.
• Completing deliveries according to schedule and communicating any changes or challenges.
• Loading and unloading containers, prioritizing and organizing the truck per schedule and needs.
• Managing a route as directed by leadership, delivering timely, efficient, and effective service.
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours, and preparing for roadside inspections.
• Performing heavy lifting as required.
